Worship Pastor Ben Patat

Ben was born and raised in Greer, South Carolina as was brought up going to church. He became a Christian at the age of eight, but truly began to understand the sacrifice Christ made for him and felt a call to full time ministry at age 17 while at youth camp. Ben started playing music in middle school and quickly began playing at church in the youth praise band. At age 17 he was able to start the youth ministry at a new church plant in Greer, and served there until 2010. During this time he graduated from Greer High School and attended and graduated from North Greenville University with a B.A. in Youth Ministry. Since then Ben has realized his call to worship leading, come on board with Imago Dei as worship pastor, and married the love of his life Kyndal. Ben writes his own music in solo format, in his band Lilies and Sparrows, and here at Imago Dei. Ben loves his music and sees it as a gift from God. Thus, he devotes every note he plays to the Lord. He loves what God is doing here at Imago Dei and can’t wait to see what He is going to do in the future.
