Our Church Name and Mission

Welcome to Imago Dei Church! Imago Dei is a Latin term that means “Image of God.” Having been made in the image of the Trinitarian God – God eternally existing as one God in three distinct persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit without division of nature, essence, or being; each person is fully God and there is one God – we believe to live in His image is to live in unified community, unceasing worship, and undying mission. Therefore our church exists to live in Gospel-centered worship, community, and mission.

Sunday Worship Gatherings

Our Sunday worship gatherings are at 11 a.m. at The Channel in downtown Greenville. We have an open Question and Answer time at 10 a.m. Grille 33, the restaurant downstairs is open for breakfast so feel free to come a little early to grab some food or coffee before the service. We also have childcare and Children’s Church.

Our worship services are relaxed but reverent. Type of clothing, hairstyle, and tattoos are of no concern to us at Imago Dei. Everyone is welcome to attend our Sunday service as we worship in song, fellowship, communion, giving, and the preaching of God’s Word.

Parking in downtown can be a little tricky. All street parking is free on the weekends.

We look forward to seeing you!
