At Imago Dei we believe to live in the image of God is to live in unceasing worship, unified community, and undying mission. As we gather together on Sunday mornings we worship together corporately through music, prayer, giving, communion, fellowship, and the preaching of God’s Word. Our Missional Community Groups are a way for our people to live in community, worship, and serve together as we scatter from our corporate worship gatherings. Our MC Groups are open to anyone. We meet in homes and talk about the week’s sermon, ask questions, and share personal experiences and life’s struggles and victories together.
This is more than just another Bible Study. Rather, MC Groups are a place to foster Gospel-centered community.
We currently have two MC Groups that meet weekly, one in Greer and the other in Easley. No one will be put on the spot and asked to pray, read out loud, or answer a question at an MC Group meeting. Additionally, our MC Groups are expected to not just meet, but to be the missional extension of Imago Dei Church. A Christian community living in the image of God is a community on mission.
Each individual MC Group is responsible for its own childcare as required.
